After earning her Creative Communications diploma at Winnipeg’s Red River College, Andrea’s first reporting job was with a weekly paper in Russell, Man. There she began learning about agricultural issues, and her education continued during the seven years she worked as a reporter/editor with the Manitoba Co-operator. She worked in corporate communications for the Canadian Wheat Board and Canadian Grain Commission, and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English at the University of Manitoba. Andrea brings her years of experience in agricultural journalism and her interest in life-long learning to her position at Issues Ink.

Involved in volunteer activities in Winnipeg’s arts community, Andrea believes in contributing her time and talents to help keep Winnipeg’s arts scene flourishing.
