Joan, previously the head of the University Relations Department at the University of Winnipeg, brings extensive experience in communications, public affairs, governance, and events planning to her role at Issues Ink. In addition to her special projects assignments, she is part of the editorial team.
She has served on the boards of numerous organizations, including the Canadian Cancer Society, Seven Oaks General Hospital, and the University Women's Club of Winnipeg. Joan lives on a family farm, just outside of Winnipeg, where she can often be found concocting mischief with her two grandsons. And yes she is Robynne's mom!
