Monika grew up in Binscarth, MB, where her family raised Paint Horses. There, Monika’s desire to work in the agriculture industry grew. After graduating with her BSc. in Agribusiness from the University of Manitoba, Monika spent 5 years with a leading bio-tech company where she gained valuable experience in customer service, sales, and marketing. As Sales and Marketing Manager, Monika is responsible for advertising sales for all Issues Ink publications and for sales of ancillary products and services.
Monika uses any chance she can grab to go back home for some quality farm time. When not at the farm, Monika keeps very busy cycling, curling, and skiing. Monika is very active in coaching and volunteering with Kids of Mud, Manitoba’s official youth cycling program, as well as with the Manitoba Cycling Association.
